Deadheading Promotes Growth in Flowers
In our last blog post, we talked about the importance of trimming shrubs and brush. There is something similar that we do for flower beds, that we call deadheading flowers, which helps stimulate growth and new budding. We take small shears and we clip flowers or buds off the bush or out of the flower beds. This works similar to shrubs and bushes where cutting off access buds of the bush allows more nutrients to reach other parts of the plant. In the long-term, this is very good for the growth of your flowers.
